Hey Hammerheads!!

We are super excited to swim against Spring Branch Stingrays tomorrow! Below is the address, schedule, and some information about parking and set up at their pool. 

Shadow Oaks Recreational Association 

10502 Westview Dr, Houston, TX 77043

-Please arrive at the pool around 5:15pm to set up your area on the west side of the pool (turn left upon entering; it's the side with the large field!).

Hammerheads warm up from 5:35-5:55pm. 

Meet Schedule

5pm: SBST swimmers and volunteers arrive

5:15pm: Away team swimmers and volunteers arrive; SBST warm-up

5:35pm: Away team warm-up

5:40pm: Meet Officials and deck volunteers meeting

5:50pm: half-lappers line up on north side of the pool

5:55pm: Half-lappers swim

6pm: National Anthem and meet begins!

-Parking is available in the SORA lot, but there is overflow parking at Shadow Oaks Elementary school both right next to the pool and in the lot along Shadowdale. We will have reserved spots for coach and league representatives right by the entrance. Please note that you can NOT park at Skyline. We will have a patrol car monitoring the area, but we encourage everyone to be diligent in not leaving valuables in plain sight and keeping cars locked. 

-Please bring chairs to sit in the grassy area on the west side of the pool. They have some shade, but you are welcome to bring pop up tents.

-Our concession stand will be open with food and drinks (pizza,nachos, hot dogs, etc.). Concessions will be CASHLESS

-On-deck volunteers check in when they arrive at the tent on the west side of the pool to get their supplies. An on-deck meeting will happen at 5:40pm with the meet director

-All events finish on the SOUTH side of the pool. 25s start at the North side. 50s start on the south side. Relay positions 1 and 3 on the South; 2 and 4 on the North.
