Hi Hammerhead Parents,

We’re excited to kick off our season in a week! Read on for details about our Kickoff Party (4/23), Love Pool clean-up day (4/25), league-hosted Judges Trainings, and other upcoming events.

Kickoff Party on April 23!

Our season kickoff party on Thursday, April 23 from 5pm – 7pm at Love Pool (1000 W. 12th St.). Swimmers will collect their team shirt, swim cap, and purchase a team suit and other needed swim gear from Texas Swim Shops. Swimmers should wear a dry swimsuit under their clothes for quick fittings – this will keep the line moving. Please warn your swimmers that there will be no swimming at this event :). If you are unable to attend the kickoff event, you will need to visit the Texas Swim Shops storefront to purchase the Hammerheads team suit.

*A special treat will be provided at the event while supplies last*

Love Pool Clean Up

Help us prep Love Pool for the season on Saturday, April 25 at 9:30am. General tasks will be cleaning the restrooms, putting out lane lines, cleaning up any trash around the pool area, and cleaning out the storage area. Sign up in Swimtopia.

Judge Trainings

Our league will be hosting Judge Training events for those willing to be a swim meet judge. Positions include place judges, stroke judges, and touch/turn judges. These volunteer positions have the best view of the pool at swim meets. The Judge Trainings will be offered:

· May 17 at Fonn Villas 4pm and – Sign up in Swimtopia 

· May 31 at Memorial West 4pm – Sign up in Swimtopia
